Editing film(2) of preliminary task

As a group we had finished re-filming our short film for the preliminary task, so we then started to edit it.

We then 'stretched' out each clip so we could accurately make cuts on the scene we needed to so the scenes would be continuous
We then had to look at the timing of some clips so that we could accurately cut parts which we needed, we mainly had to do this during the dialogue scene as we used reverse shot to show the two people speaking

We finally finished editing, we played the short film and we were very pleased with it all, it showed very good continuity and we were also really happy about the camera shots we used. However, when we showed this to our teacher, the teacher saw that we crossed the 180-degree rule during the dialogue scene. Therefore we then had to re-film the task again. Even though we were unhappy that we had to re-film it again, through the process of filming for this task, as a group we have learnt from our mistakes, made improvements and we also learnt how to work as a team
